Cities are living and breathing creatures that shape people and, in turn, is shaped by them. Feeding on our exaltations, decisions, creations, losses and tragedies, the streets are silent keepers of history that define and bring us together. We weave our stories into steel and cement, giving spirit to structures that in turn create a silent cacophony of life.
 
In this piece, unstable linework marks the the fragility of the present, while vibrancy of the past is represented in cascading, brilliant overlapping texture and color. It represents the lives we create, the ghosts we leave behind, and the shadows of what is to come through congested layering portending new life and construction to come.
 
This print was painted digitally and will be printed on gorgeous 13x19 or 11x17 inch matte paper (60lb paper stock).

The print is signed on the back, is wrapped in paper and shipped in a sturdy mailing tube for protection.
